MakeThemCode

Make your collaborators vibe code.

Stop getting interrupted for changes that don't need a developer.

MakeThemCode is a cloud vibe coding environment for your existing git repository: non-tech collaborators (teammates, clients, ...) describe their requested changes by chat, and every change lands as a commit on your branch, or a pull request when a developer needs to review it.

Connect a GitHub repository and invite your first collaborator in minutes.

Keep your time for the work that needs you

The ten-minute change is never ten minutes: the context switch, the back and forth, the request you have to decode.

Stay in flow
Copy tweaks, colours, a reordered section, a missing field: the requests that don't need a developer stop reaching you. Your collaborators make them themselves.
No more spec ping-pong
The person who has the change in mind makes it, and adjusts it on the running app until it matches. No ticket to interpret, no “that's not what I meant”.

You decide what they can touch

Rules are set per project and enforced after every turn of the conversation, before anything is committed.

Forbidden files
Files and folders collaborators can never change. Anything they touch there is restored from the base branch.
Review where it matters
Mark the paths that require a review: changes to them always open a pull request. Everything else is committed straight to your branch.
The branch you choose
Sessions start from the base branch you pick and work on a branch of their own. Nothing else in your repository is touched.
Spending limits
Cap the monthly spend of the whole project and of each member. The assistant stops when a limit is reached.

The hard part isn't the code anymore. It's everything around it.

AI can already write the change. What stops your collaborators is cloning the repo, installing dependencies, running a dev server and finding their way around git. MakeThemCode does that part once, in the cloud, for everyone.

  1. 1

    Connect your repository

Install the GitHub App, pick a repository and the branch collaborators start from.

  2. 2

We set up a cloud dev environment

We work out how your app runs and generate a Dockerfile for it. Each session gets its own sandbox running your dev server next to our AI coding agent.

  3. 3

Collaborators open it in their browser

A chat and a live preview of your real app. No GitHub account, nothing to install.

  4. 4

    Every change lands in git

A session becomes one commit on your branch, or a pull request when a review is needed. It's plain git, so your CI/CD runs as usual: tests, preview deployments, releases.

One honest caveat: the environment variables you declare are injected into the sandbox, so the agent running there can reach them. Use development credentials, never production ones.

Lovable and Bolt build a new app from a prompt. MakeThemCode changes the app you already ship, with rules you set on every file.

Questions you are about to ask

What actually runs the code?
Each session gets its own cloud sandbox, built from a Dockerfile generated for your repository. It runs your dev server and our AI coding agent side by side, and pauses after ten minutes of inactivity.
Which stacks are supported?
Any web app that runs in a Docker container with a dev server. We work out how your app starts when you connect the repository.
Does it work with GitLab or Bitbucket?
Not yet. MakeThemCode connects to GitHub through a GitHub App.
Can a collaborator break my main branch?
Not on their own. Every session works on a dedicated branch, protected paths are restored automatically, and merging into your base branch happens on the terms you configured.
Does it trigger my CI/CD?
Yes. Changes are ordinary commits and pull requests pushed to GitHub, so your checks, preview deployments and releases run as they do for any other commit.
Where do my secrets go?
The environment variables you declare are injected into the sandbox, so the agent running there can reach them: use development credentials, never production ones. Your GitHub token is only used to clone and push, and never written to disk.
How is this different from Lovable, v0 or Replit?
Lovable builds a new app and cannot start from an existing repository. v0 and Replit can open one, but rely on GitHub access and GitHub's own protections. MakeThemCode is built for non-tech collaborators: no GitHub account, and the rules you set on every file are enforced after each turn.
